Zaya Wade didn’t have gender surgical procedure. She finds herself recognized as straight trans and lives by her identification.

In March 2020, she attended the Truth Awards in Los Angeles, which honors achievements within the Black LGBTQ+ group.

The 12-year-old strolled the crimson carpet alongside Dwyane Wade and Union, carrying custom-made matching fits.

Zaya expressed her emotions about being an instance to others by saying, “I think it’s fantastic. I’ve always felt that there was something I was supposed to accomplish, and I believe I’ve discovered it.”

Zaya’s understanding of herself improved as she grew older, and on the age of 12, she declared that she needed to be referred to as Zaya and use she/her pronouns.

“She was the one that sat down with us as a family and said, ‘Hey, I don’t think I’m gay,’”

On May 29, 2007, Zaya Wade was born to Dwyane Wade and Siohvaughn Funches’ second youngster.

Zaya was born to former Miami Heat basketball participant Dwyane Wade.

After his divorce from Funches, Wade acquired full custody of Zaya and her elder brother, Zaire Blessing Dwyane.

Gabrielle Union, Zaya’s stepmother, married Dwyane Wade in 2014.

In 2018, Union and Dwyane welcomed Kaavia James, Zaya’s youthful sister, through surrogate.

Xavier Zechariah, Zaya’s youthful brother, is Dwyane’s son from a previous relationship.
